There are small freedoms that look ordinary from the outside.

Wearing a backless top. Walking into a museum alone. Going out without waiting for someone to come with you. Cutting your hair and recognising yourself in the mirror. Moving through your own house, your own garden, your own life, and feeling at home in your body.

For some women, these things may seem simple.

For me, they are victories.

Dos Nue was born from one of those victories.

A small freedem. A quite victory.

For a long time, there were clothes I thought did not belong to me. Not because I did not love them, but because my body made them complicated. I had a generous chest, strong arms, broad shoulders, and the kind of silhouette that required structure, support, strategy. Beautiful lingerie was not always a pleasure; sometimes it was armour. Dressing was not always expression; sometimes it was negotiation.

And then, slowly, my body changed.

But more importantly, my relationship with my body changed.

I became lighter, yes . But I also became braver. More curious. More willing to be seen. More willing to go places alone. More willing to build a life around the things that genuinely move me: art, old books, vintage porcelain, countryside walks, paintings, quiet interiors, beautiful fabrics, movement, discipline, and the private luxury of feeling free in my own skin.

Not smaller. Freer.

Dos Nue is not a weight-loss blog.

It is not a before-and-after story. It is not about becoming smaller. It is not about perfection.

It is about returning to oneself.

The name comes from the backless silhouette , but for me, it means much more than a piece of clothing. A bare back is not only sensual. It is vulnerable. It is elegant. It requires posture. It asks for ease. It reveals a part of the body we rarely see ourselves, and perhaps that is why it feels so symbolic to me.

To wear a backless dress, or a backless top, without fear, without overthinking, without hiding, is not a small thing.

It is a declaration.

It says: I am here. I am no longer waiting. I am allowed to feel beautiful now.
